1979 Mattel Basketball 2 Handheld Electronic Game 1645-0360 in East Hampton, Connecticut For Sale

Copyright xxxx from Mattel Inc., this Basketball 2 handheld LED game is in solid, working condition. All the lights and sounds work. The screen is a bit scuffed up, but it's not at all deterrent to game play. Cosmetic damage on the edges is minimal-to-nonexistent.
There's no instruction manual--I'm not sure if it even came with one during the retail purchase, but the instructions are printed on the back. In case you can't make out the text from the photo of the back cover, I'll summarize here:
PRO 1 setting is for beginners, and PRO 2 setting is for advanced players. Press DEFENSE key before each offensive play starts. Direction keys move ball carrier (solid blip). When no more than 1 defender is next to ball carrier, PASS sends ball to teammate (blinking blip). SHOOT when no defenders between ball and basket. Includes 24 second clock and ref's whistle for turnovers and fouls. SHOOT also operates free throws. Press bottom direction key for visitor/home scores and time remaining.
The game requires one 9V battery to operate. A Mattel Electronics AC Adapter can also be used--that appears to be what the side jack is for. I don't have that adapter, so I can't be sure.
The device measures 6" L x 1" D x 3 1/2" W and weighs 5 1/2 ounces without batteries.
